Description: On August 22, 2019, NYPD officer Daniel Trudnak and unnamed officers stopped, questioned, frisked, searched and falsely arrested Plaintiff. The officers did not recover any drugs or weapons from Plaintiff's person, yet they transported Plaintiff to the 81st Precinct then Brooklyn Central Booking where Plaintiff was detained in a holding cell. The officers maliciously initiated the prosecution against
plaintiff, falsely stating to the DA that Plaintiff was in possession of stolen property. Plaintiff was forced to appear in Court on approximately 9
occasions before all charges were dismissed on November 18, 2020.

Description: On February 28, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Ryan Sookdeo was lawfully inside his residence at 335 Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Brooklyn when NYPD officers, including Officers Daniel Trudnak, Darren McFadzean, and Lieutenant Shibu Madhu, unlawfully stopped, questioned, frisked, and falsely arrested him without probable cause. Sookdeo was handcuffed, detained for over 24 hours, and falsely charged with attempted criminal possession of stolen property and obstructing governmental administration. He was arraigned on March 1, 2018, and all charges were dismissed and sealed the same day.
