Description: On April 7, 2021, the plaintiff, Robert Green, was lawfully present at or about the
intersection of Grand Concourse and East 183rd Street, in the County of Bronx, City and State of New York, when the defendants, NYPD Police Officers Joshua Martinez (shield #405) and John Doe #s 1-10 (as yet unidentified), grabbed Mr. Green out of his vehicle, and threw him face-first against the hood. The defendants twisted his arms, struck him with a baton and forcefully applied handcuffs. Mr. Green was transported to St. Baranabas Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and then transported to the NYPD 46th Precinct, where he was held until issuance of an appearance ticket.
