Description: On May 15, 2019, Plaintiff Eric Torres was falsely stopped, arrested, handcuffed and imprisoned by Defendant Officer Charles Fureylessen, causing Plaintiff physical pain and mental suffering. This happened while Plaintiff was at the Fulton Street train station when Defendant approached him and accused him of sexually assaulting and harassing another subway patron. Defendant handcuffed Plaintiff and transported him to Transit Bureau District 2 and then to Central Booking. All charges were dismissed on December 19, 2019.
