Description: CitiMortgage Inc. brought foreclosure proceedings against Plaintiffs for their home in Brooklyn. Plaintiff sought and received an order to show cause on May 20, 2019. On June 11. 2019, the City Marshall came to Plaintiffs' home and told Plaintiff Ms. Palmer that she was evicted and had to leave the house. Despite having the order, the city Marshall took possession of Plaintiffs' home. The next day Plaintiffs were able to get back to their house after showing the Marshall's office the order. However, the locks of their home had been changed. At a hearing, Plaintiffs showed the state Supreme Court in Kings Count that they filed for bankruptcy and delayed the hearing until July 24, 2019.
