Complaint
Description: Plaintiff was driving with his friend and girlfriend when he was cut off in traffic by an off duty police officer. Plaintiff accelerated and officer began to follow him. Plaintiff ultimately pulled over, and the office pulled over behind him and approached the plaintiff. The officer hit the plaintiff's neck with the side of his hand, and then drew a firearm from his waist holster but did not identify himself as a police officer. The plaintiff's girlfriend dialed 911 and the officer then attempted to leave the vicinity. Police Officers from the 19th Precinct arrived on the scene, and once the officer identified himself, the plaintiff was charged by PO Tau Samuel with felony assault on a police officer.
