Description: On April 13, 2019, Plaintiff was hurt by her ex-in-laws at the doorway of her ex-in-laws' apartment during Plaintiff's routine visit of her son there. Defendants (Police Officers) arrived later. Defendants did a hasty investigation without talking with all the people involved in the incident and the key witness. They ignored the bruises on the Plaintiff as a result of the incident and ignored her statements that she was the victim. Nor did Defendants get an interpreter despite the fact that some people involved in the incident did not speak English at all (e.g., the ex-in-laws) or did not speak English very well (e.g., Plaintiff).
