Description: On or about April 21, 2015, at or around at 8:30PM, the plaintiff, Alesha Duffy o/b/o minor son, H.J, was a participant at the Marlborough Community Center, and was returning from a trip with 8 other participants and two adult supervisors. Several NYPD officers, the defendants, falsely claimed that the plaintiff and several others from the program at the center robbed a passenger on the train, and placed the plaintiff into handcuffs and under arrest.
The plaintiff was taken to the police precinct and even though the plaintiff was a minor, he was not permitted to speak with a parent. The arresting officer falsely informed the DA office that they had observed the plaintiff commit various crimes. The other defend...
