Description: On May 16, 2016, there was a motor vehicle accident between two vehicles in Brooklyn. Defendant Marlyn Armand was the owner of one vehicle, which was left unattended with the keys still in it. Defendant Stephen Brumaire, employed by the Dept. of Corrections, operated this car with permission (express and/or implied) from Marlyn Armand. Marie Armand was the owner and user of the second vehicle. Following this collision, which was caused by the negligence and recklessness of the defendants, one of the vehicles came into violent contact with Plaintiff Charlotte Nurse, mother of infant plaintiff Michael Nurse, who was a pedestrian bystander.
