Description: On January 7, 2011, Plaintiff was walking on the sidewalk when two officers left a cab and confronted him about a bag he was carrying. Defendant Officers Quinton Vanwynen and Randy Rose threw Plaintiff to the ground and handcuffed him, then picked him up and threw him against a car. Plaintiff was arraigned on false charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. After being released without bail, Plaintiff was treated for his injuries at a hospital. The case eventually went to trial and resulted in a not guilty verdict on August 18, 2011.
