Description: On October 25, 2023, Plaintiff called 911 for assistance after a woman started having a psychotic episode while holding a knife and threatening Plaintiff and Plaintiff's child. When the Defendant NYPD police officers arrived, they falsely accused Plaintiff of assaulting the woman. The officers proceeded to assault, search, and falsely arrest Plaintiff. During the arrest, the officers violently contorted Plaintiff's arms and wrists behind his back before applying metal handcuffs in an excessively tight fashion, injuring Plaintiff.
