Description: On December 6, 2019, the Plaintiff was walking on the public street when 3 POs in plain clothing, including Det. Martinez, violently assaulted the plaintiff and placed him in handcuffs. The POs did not provide the Plaintiff with any answers or reason for his arrest. They tightly handcuffed the Plaintiff's wrists, causing severe bruising and pain. It was only at the Precinct, after he was processed, when he became aware of his alleged drug sale and possession of marijuana. The Plaintiff denied all the allegations and was held in a holding cell for several hours, until the DA denied his prosecution.

Description: On November 11, 2016, as plaintiff was walking down a street, he was approached and detained by defendants in plainclothes. Defendants proceeded to punch plaintiff repeatedly in the face and threw him to the floor, causing him to lose consciousness. Plaintiff was handcuffed, arrested, searched and transported to the police precinct. The false charges brought against plaintiff were ultimately dismissed.
