Description: On April 29, 2015, Plaintiff was with coworkers at a restaurant when he saw a Black Lives Matter demonstration pass by and decided to follow. About fourty-five minutes later, Officer Jane Doe announced that everyone in the street was to clear the roadway. Plaintiff was in the crosswalk with the "walk" light on, and when he reached the other side, the sidewalk was blocked by other demonstrators, police, a police vehicle, and a trash can. Plaintiff was instructed to get out of the crosswalk and onto the sidewalk and tried to comply by seeking to step onto the sidewalk. Several seconds later, a supervisor ordered Plaintiff's arrest.
