Description: On September 20, 2011, as plaintiff was exiting a store, defendants confronted him and accused him of stealing an item. Plaintiff explained that he had stolen nothing, but complied with defendants' request that he accompany them to the security office while the police arrived at the location. Once in the security office, defendants attacked plaintiff in an effort to handcuff him. Defendants then proceeded to punch and kick plaintiff repeatedly in the head. Defendant officers O'Hara and Arocho arrived at the scene and transported plaintiff to the 25th precinct. Plaintiff was falsely charged with petit larceny.
