Description: Defendant Officers pulled over Plaintiff's fiance's car during a checkpoint and took their license and registration. After waiting an exceedingly long time, Plaintiff got out of the car to speak to a lieutenant and as he walker over, Defendant officers grabbed him, assaulted him, and arrested him. Plaintiff was taken to the 75th Precinct, subjected to a full strip-search, and given a DAT for dis con and littering. Plaintiff was acquitted of all charges.

Description: On March 11, 2013, Plaintiff was visiting a friend in Brooklyn and decided to leave with a friend who offered to drive him home. Upon entering the vestibule of his friend's residence, defendant officers blacked Plaintiff from walking to his friends car. The officers demanded identification and an explanation as to why Plaintiff was in the building. Plaintiff supplied the officers with the name and apartment number of the friend he'd been visiting, but the information was never verified. Plaintiff was cuffed, searched and placed in the police van. No illegal contraband or weapons were found on or near plaintiff or at the scene.
