Description: On February 4, 2023, Plaintiff visited a deli with one of his friends to make a purchase. Upon leaving the deli, Plaintiff and his friend entered another friend’s vehicle who was waiting for them outside. No more than 30 seconds later, they were ambushed by the police, who exited their vehicles with their guns drawn. The Plaintiff and friends were forced to exit the vehicle and an officer rushed Plaintiff, throwing him onto the ground, causing his face to strike the concrete. The Plaintiff, his friends, and the car were searched, and no contraband was found. Plaintiff was not read his Miranda rights nor told why he was being handcuffed, arrested, placed into a patrol vehicle, and transported to the 73rd precinc...
