Description: On October 9, 2021, Detective Edward J. Aswad and other POs approached, assaulted and battered Plaintiff on the street. The assault and battery consisted of being forcefully grabbed and pulled out of his vehicle, violently turned around and slammed against the vehicle, his arms pulled improperly due to Plaintiff's size and was forcefully placed in a single set of handcuffs. Later that day, Plaintiff was released and was issued a traffic ticket for a baseless infraction in an attempt to justify their stop of Plaintiff's vehicle.
