Complaint
Description: On April 16, 2021, POs including Batz, Almonte, Caceres, and Acevedo suddenly accosted Plaintiff on the street, while he was handing out flyers and business cards. The POs then proceeded to search Plaintiff but failed to find any evidence of illegal activity. The POs then handcuffed and arrested Plaintiff despite their knowledge that they lacked reasonable grounds or probable cause. Plaintiff sustained physical injuries, emotional distress, embarrassment, and humiliation.
