Description: On May 16, 2020, Plaintiffs were lawfully present on the sidewalk checking out the engine of their parked vehicle when Defendants, including Louis and Sokolow, stopped and detained Plaintiffs with their hands on their service weapons, without probable cause or reasonable suspicion. Defendants ignored Plaintiffs’ inquiries as to why they were being detained. Plaintiff Irving then began lawfully recording Defendants before being illegally demanded to cease recording. Defendants then illegally demanded Plaintiffs exit their vehicle, falsely accused them of a criminal offense, and then unlawfully seized their persons with their outstretched hands violently grabbing Plaintiffs about their bodies without probable cau...
