Description: On September 29, 2014 Det. Louis Yero, Sgt. Maurice Chisholm, PO Erin Frawley, Sgt. Patrick Golden, and Sgt. Henderson were called to a disturbance at a residence. When they arrived they asked Plaintiff, a body builder, to break down the door. After Plaintiff did so Plaintiff ran into the apartment and struggled with the individual inside, who was wielding a knife. Though exact circumstances are unclear due to multiple, varying, self-serving accounts from the NYPD, at some point POs opened fire and killed both Plaintiff and the individual. Description: On or about September 29, 2014, Kathy Russo was insider of her apartment when she was attacked by her knife wielding ex-boyfriend. Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance 911 call outside of Kathy's apartment. They asked Rafael Laureno Sr. to assist them in breaking down the door of Kathy's apartment. The door was broken down by Rafael and the officers entered the apartment. They failed to prevent Rafael to enter the apartment. The officers discharged their firearms at Rafael. The officers then tried to cover up the death of Rafael.

Description: On or about September 29, 2014 Decedent's friend was being assaulted by her knife-wielding ex-boyfriend inside of her apartment. Decedent was outside of his friend's apartment when POs John and Jane Does arrived and asked Decedent, a former body builder, to break down the door to his friend's apartment. Decedent did so and entered the apartment, an active crime scene, along with POs. POs then fired dozens of shots inside Decedent's friend's apartment, killing her ex-boyfriend and killing Decedent with a gun shot wound to his back.
