Description: On or about September 29, 2014, Kathy Russo was insider of her apartment when she was attacked by her knife wielding ex-boyfriend. Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance 911 call outside of Kathy's apartment. They asked Rafael Laureno Sr. to assist them in breaking down the door of Kathy's apartment. The door was broken down by Rafael and the officers entered the apartment. They failed to prevent Rafael to enter the apartment. The officers discharged their firearms at Rafael. The officers then tried to cover up the death of Rafael.
