Description: On July 12, 2022, plaintiff Jerome Williams reported to a precinct receiving information that officers wanted to speak to him. They informed him that he was wanted for an accident that occurred on June 11, 2022. They arrested him, subjected him to a pat-down, and put him unreasonably tight metal handcuffs. Police officers did not have any credible basis to accuse plaintiff for a crime. During his custody, officers falsely communicated allegations that plaintiff had committed an assault, had obstructed governmental administration, attempted an assault and did harassment. Finally, all charges against plaintiff were dismissed.
