Description: On or about October 21, 2012, Plaintiff was operating her motor vehicle on the streets when she was pulled over by Defendant NYPD police officers, and subsequently arrested by Defendant PO Joseph Carrasquillo. Plaintiff also had her vehicle seized. The arrest and vehicle seizure were without probable cause. Plaintiff was later maliciously prosecuted for some crimes, but all charges against Plaintiff were dismissed on or about December 13, 2012. As a result of the incident, Plaintiff suffered mental and emotional distress.
