Description: On April 13, 2014, at approximately 12:30 a.m., plaintiff was lawfully driving near Brooklyn, New York, when he was stopped at a traffic checkpoint by the defendant officers, including P.O. Scott Schulman. Plaintiff complied with all orders. The and asked the defendant officers several questions about the reasoning and legality of the traffic stop. After some time, he exited his vehicle and began videotaping the officers. The officers had not told plaintiff he could not exit the vehicle, and they did not initially take issue with it.
