Description: On October 14, 2023, Plaintiff was at his home when Defendant Police Officers Paul Pereyra, Eric Karl, and John/Jane Does #1-3 arrived and arrested Plaintiff. Defendants used excessive force while arresting Plaintiff. Defendants brought Plaintiff to the 44th Precinct and placed him in a holding cell. Defendants did not have a valid reason to arrest Plaintiff or to detain him for approximately 24 hours. While Plaintiff was in the holding cell, Defendants became upset at Plaintiff, took him out of the cell, pulled his shirt over his head, and punched him in the face approximately 4 times.
