Description: On or about August 31, 2021, the plaintiffs were unlawfully arrested by PO James Kelly and certain unidentified POs, while one of the plaintiffs was three-months pregnant. When the plaintiffs asked the defendants for an arrest warrant, the defendants flashed a piece of paper across them without allowing them to read it, which the plaintiffs found later to be false. Description: On April 27, 2021, Officers Doyle, John Doe and Jane Doe #1-16 unlawfully entered the Plaintiff’s home without a warrant and rushed towards Plaintiff with their guns directly pointed at him yelling, grabbing, pushing, shoving, and pulling him in the process. They tightly handcuffed the Plaintiff, causing him significant pain and numbness. An illegal search of the premises was conducted and the Plaintiff was forcibly taken to NYPD-79th Precinct, where he suffered illegal searches and lengthy interrogation based on falsified police reports that ultimately resulted in criminal charges. Description: On September 20, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Plaintiff Ramel Miller was present in the vicinity of 407 Bristol Street in Brooklyn, when the Defendant Police Officers (including James Kelly) unlawfully arrested Plaintiff without cause or legal justification. Defendant Officers grabbed Plaintiff's arms, pinned them behind his back, put handcuffs on his wrists, then conducted an illegal pat-down search of the Plaintiff. Defendant Officers then transported Plaintiff to 73rd Precinct, where Plaintiff was searched, photographed, and unlawfully detained in a holding cell for approximately 18 hours.
