Description: On October 27, 2022, Plaintiff was inside the 48th Precinct because he made numerous 911 calls that were never responded to. Plaintiff wanted to make a formal complaint in person, but was told that he could not and he must leave. Plaintiff asked to speak with a supervisor, this is when he was surrounded by multiple police officers and was backed into a corner. Defendant Officers grabbed Plaintiff's wrists, arms, and waist, and slammed Plaintiff into the floor of the lobby. This is when Defendant Police Officers, including Police Officer Christopher Malzahn unlawfully detained and arrested Plaintiff without legal justification.
