Description: On January 2, 2020 at approximately 1:00 p.m. Plaintiff was lawfully in the area of 737 Melrose Avenue when he was approached by POs Jiekai Ding, Luiggi Feliz, Sgt. Bautista, and POs John Doe and John Roe, who--without legal justification--approached Plaintiff, falsely accused him of having committed a crime then searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered and detained him. Plaintiff sustained injuries to his head, neck, back, body, and limbs. Plaintiff was then taken to the police station and various other locations where he was processed as an arrestee, including a strip search.
