Description: On or about March 22, 2018, NYPD Police Officer Jose Romero, Sergeant Carlos Morales, Police Officer Lauren Amin, and two additional unidentified police officers approached the plaintiff in the vicinity of 505 East 144th Street in the Bronx, where they stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained the plaintiff without reason. Thereafter, the plaintiff was subject to a strip search and falsely and maliciously prosecuted. As a result of the excessive force used to batter plaintiff, plaintiff was caused serious, severe, painful, and permanent bodily injuries.

Description: On February 28, 2018, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the three Plaintiffs was lawfully present near East 143rd Street and St. Ann’s Avenue in the Bronx when Police Officer Lauren Amin, along with Officers John Doe and John Roe, approached Plaintiff without any warrant, probable cause, or reasonable suspicion. Plaintiff was not engaged in any suspicious or unlawful behavior before the officers approached.
