Description: On June 28, 2019, Plaintiff's Andrew Ferin and Isaac Perez were lawfully riding their motorcycles when Defendant Officer Joel Buchanan and as many as six unidentified police officers stopped plaintiffs for no reason. The defendants claimed the plaintiffs' motorcycles were stolen, which was not true, and then handcuffed and transported plaintiffs to jail, where they were searched and their money and personal belongings were taken. After several hours in jail, the plaintiffs were released and all charges were dismissed. Plaintiffs reclaimed their motorcycles, which were damaged, and one of their cell phones was stolen and not returned.
