Description: On September 7th, 2022, at approximately 5pm, at 2949 W 23rd Street, Brookly New York, Officer Ryan H. Maraio, Lieutenant Charles D. Miele and other defendant officers (together the "defendants") committed various acts against plaintiff. Plaintiff was walking when he was approached and unlawfully arrested by the defendants. Defendants provided no information as to the reason for the arrest at that time. Plaintiff had arrived at arounf 3.30pm in his capacity as Jewish Community violence interrupter (a role to help de-escalate interactions between the police and civilians) as a shooting had happened there earlier that day.
