Description: On June 30, 2015, Plaintiff Patrick Giblin was the subject of an Amber Alert issued throughout the NY Area falsely stating that he was suicidal and that he had abducted a 3 year old girl from a mental health clinic. The statement as to the Plaintiff's mental heath was false, and the child was Plaintiff's own daughter.
At the time of the incident, Plaintiff Giblin - a military vet and retired NYPD officer who retired due to PTSD from serving as a first responder in 9/11 - received mental health care from the Dept. of Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare System and Mount Sinai's WTC Mental Health Program (WTCMHP).
