Description: On October 9, 2015, Plaintiff Thomas was arrested for a misdemeanor and a violation. Defendant Officer Gorga pushed Plaintiff Thomas, slammed him into a subway bench, and punched him in the chest during arrest. While in custody, Plaintiff Thomas was harassed and taunted by Defendant Officer Schwaner and others. Plaintiff Thomas was brought to Brooklyn Hospital for his injuries, where Defendant Officer Malchevsky and Miroshnyk refused Plaintiff Thomas' requests for food, water, and to use the bathroom. Back in jail, Plaintiff Thomas was refused water and food by Defendant Officers Diaz-Oliver and Rice.
