Description: On May 13, 2020, while lawfully present at the platform of the D/N/R trains at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center Subway station in Kings, NY, the plaintiffs were unlawfully approached, assaulted, battered, arrested, and excessively detained by the defendants, including Elaria Hall and John Does, without legal justification. The assault and battery involved grabbing the plaintiffs, pulling the infant plaintiff C.S. away from his mother Kaleemah Rozier, pushing Kaleemah in the back of her head and neck causing her to fall, twisting her arm, pressing a knee into her neck, and forcefully handcuffing her.
