Description: Plaintiff was arrested by Officer Nunez for allegedly stabbing a four-year old girl in front of her mother. Plaintiff was charged with attempted murder in the second degree and pleaded not guilty. Plaintiff was then taken to Rikers Island Correctional Facility, where she was placed in solitary confinement from April 5, 2012 until May 2, 2015. During her incarceration, Plaintiff attempted suicide 100 times, and was still sent back to solitary confinement. Plaintiff was deprived of meals, showers, family visits and any outdoor recreation time.
