Description: On March 15, 2019, Plaintiff, a Latino or Hispanic male, was walking down the street when POs including MCIVER, CALLE, MILONE, approached Plaintiff and told Plaintiff to drop what he was holding. Plaintiff dropped all of the items in his grasp putting up no physical resistance. POs violently contorted Plaintiff’s arms behind his back and handcuffed him in excessively tight fashion. Description: On July 12, 2015 at approximately 2:30 p.m. POs Andres Calle, Khan Pollock, James Roche, Ostende Alvarado, John Doe, and John Roe approached Plaintiffs Calix, Valencia, and Caballero and summarily stopped, frisked, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained them in an aggressive and excessive manner without legal justification. While in custody Plaintiffs were strip-searched. They remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and were maliciously prosecuted, requiring numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against them were terminated favorably on September 25, 2017. All three Plaintiffs suffered physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of the incident.
