Description: On March 8, 2018, Plaintiff Robert McCarter was arrested while working his job as a parking assistant for a production company, for driving a car without a valid NY State driver's license. However, plaintiff was in possession of a valid restricted use license which authorized him to drive while working. Despite this, plaintiff was arrested and charged where he remained in central booking for 30 hours. All charges were dismissed a couple months later. Plaintiff was subject to a false arrest and imprisonment without probable cause by officers Rosanna Espinal and Daryl Melhado.
