Description: On or about September 12, 2016 Plaintiff was lawfully in his home when Sgt. Colon Gonzalez and POs Simran James and John Does 1-9 wrongfully entered the home and arrested Plaintiff without legal justification. POs used excessive physical force and threats of physical force during the arrest. Other officers watching the use of excessive force did nothing to intervene. Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 22 hours. On or about September 13, 2016 the District Attorney's office filed an affidavit in Support of Declining to Prosecute Plaintiff. The incident caused Plaintiff pain, suffering, shock, and fear.
