Description: On September 17, 2012, Christopher Faraone, a professional journalist, was unlawfully arrested by NYPD officers while covering an Occupy Wall Street anniversary demonstration. Despite complying with directives and not engaging in any illegal activity, Faraone was tackled, searched, and detained without justification, leading to charges of disorderly conduct which were later dismissed.
