Description: On November 22, 2017, the plaintiff was returning from work when he was followed off the train to Riverside Park near 116th Street, New York, New York. The individuals that followed him were defendant NYPD officers and when they approached him, they asked him for identification. The defendants then requested the plaintiff to follow them to the station, but the plaintiff refused. The plaintiff was then arrested and transported to the precinct and placed in a holding cell. The plaintiff was charged maliciously prosecuted with false charges until all the charges were dismissed in 2018.
