Description: On July 9, 2019, in Staten Island, the Defendants, The City Of New York, New York City Police Department, Police Officer Tracey Rooney, Police Officer Janine Williams and other New York City police officers (John Does #1-3) assaulted the plaintiff Rachel Thompson and later arrested the plaintiff without probable cause and unlawfully detained, imprisoned, struck, kicked and handcuffed her and used excessive force. The Plaintiff was falsely charged with Obstructing Governmment Administration and Disorderly Conduct, and accordingly, she was released 24 hours later.
