Description: On June 18, 2019, at approximately 5:00 a.m., Plaintiff Alfred Lopez was lawfully present inside of the vicinity of 155 West 21st Street, Apartment 4E, New York, New York, when the defendant Police Officers, NYPD Detective Sean Buler, NYPD Detective Jose Ortiz and several unnamed NYPD officers, unlawfully arrested Plaintiff without probable cause or legal justification. At the aforementioned place and time, the Plaintiff was sleeping in bed with
his girlfriend. Plaintiff was awakened by loud shouting and banging on his front door. Plaintiff's girlfriend opened the front door and at least three plain-clothed defendant officers entered his apartment with their guns drawn.
