Description: On May 7, 2020 Plaintiff was lawfully operating his motor vehicle when an officer forced his vehicle into another. The officers then attempted to grab Plaintiff for no apparent reason. Fearful for his life, Plaintiff ran away and officers chased him. When the officers caught Plaintiff they assaulted by punching his face and head to the point of losing consciousness. Plaintiff awoke in the backseat of a police vehicle in transport to the precinct. Plaintiff was denied medical care at the center because he had no health insurance and detained for approximately 8-10 hours. All charges against Plaintiff were subsequently dismissed.

Description: On September 6, 2017, the Plaintiff was inside his bedroom. Defendant NYPD Officers Mark Fleming and Redmond Murphy attended his bedroom responding to a wellness check requested by his landlord. The bedroom door was locked and needed to be broken in. When Fleming and Murphy entered the bedroom, the Plaintiff was standing silent and motionless with his hands at his sides in the far corner with a bed position between him and the officers. The lights were off. Fleming and Murphy told the Plaintiff to put down what they thought was a knife.
