Description: On January 5, 2023, plaintiff was arrested by defendant NYPD Officers Antonio Ricotta and Victor Mevo, based on an identification by defendant Mevo. Defendants arrested plaintiff on suspicion of burglary, and he was arraigned and held in custody for nine days until his family could post bond for his bail money. Despite his arrest, the charges against him were never submitted to a grand jury and were later dismissed by the district attorney.
