Complaint
Description: On November 24, 2013 Plaintiff found a cell phone at a fast food restaurant and opened it to see if he could determine the true owner. PO Kara Darcey and other POs later approached Plaintiff at his work and asked about the cell phone, which Plaintiff showed POs. At that time POs arrested Plaintiff with excessive force, searched him, and transported him to a precinct then Central Booking. Plaintiff was subjected to a malicious prosecution and, after multiple court appearances, all charges were ultimately dismissed on March 18, 2014. Plaintiff was injured as a result of this incident.
