Description: On or about March 25th, 2022, Defendants--NYPD Police Officers Wilfredo Burgos, Michael Delia, Ahmed Aly, and Police Officers John Doe--falsely arrested Plaintiff Mekhi Abbott even though Petitioner never committed or attempted to any crime. Defendants' statement to the NY County District Attorney's Office led Plaintiff to be charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and related offenses. However, on or about August 10th, 2022, the NY County District Attorney's Office dismissed the Plaintiff's charges.
