Description: On February 25, 2021, Plaintiff Shakina Miller was visiting her family in Brooklyn and had attended her sister’s baby shower, located at 20 Meadow Street. After the baby shower was over, Plaintiff called a Lyft and stood outside the apartment building with her sister and friends to wait for her ride to arrive. Upon his arrival, the Lyft driver got out of his vehicle to take the plaintiff’s bag and put it in the trunk. The driver forgot to put his vehicle in park, and the vehicle began rolling toward the plaintiff’s pregnant sister.
