Description: On February 28, 2014, at approximately 6:30 pm, Plaintiff was inside his neighbor's apartment. The neighbor's boyfriend left the apartment and was beaten up by police officers Vaughan Ettienne and Leonardo Manosalvas and two John Doe police officers outside of the apartment. Plaintiff stood in front of the neighbor's door and watched the police attack. Plaintiff was falsely arrested for assault, obstructing government administration, menacing, and harassment. Bail was set at arraignment for $2,500 and Plaintiff spent 7 days in jail until ROR'd when the prosecutor did not convene a grand jury. After four court appearances, Plaintiff's case was dismissed on motion of the prosecutor.

Description: On September 14, 2011, in front of 34 Jewell McKoy La., Brooklyn, NY, defendant detained, arrested, verbally and physically abused, assaulted and battered plaintiff, causing personal injuries. Defendant handcuffed, arrested, charged, and prosecuted plaintiff. Plaintiff was held in detention cells at Brooklyn Central Booking and Riker's Island until August 24, 2012. Charges brought by defendants were dismissed by the DA and the criminal matter was disposed in plaintiff's favor.
