Description: On August 31, 2018, Plaintiff was riding his bike to a nearby store to buy food. As plaintiff approached the store there was a vehicle with their lights off following plaintiff and screaming "yo." Plaintiff was afraid and picked up speed and as he was speeding up, the car following plaintiff hit plaintiff and knocked plaintiff off his bike. Plaintiff ran to the store and the individuals started chasing plaintiff. These individuals were later learned to be police officers.
Plaintiff was then arrested and searched and taken to the precinct. The search turned up nothing and plaintiff was released and charges were dropped.

Description: Early in the morning on August 17, 2018, Plaintiff was arrested in a violent, unreasonable, and excessive fashion. The three arresting officers, Michael Renna, Joseph Morgante, and Kaitlyn Bazarewski, repeatedly struck Plaintiff in the face and head with a walkie talkie after Plaintiff had surrendered to the arrest. Each of them failed to stop the others from pursuing the excessive force, which led to physical injuries, pain and suffering, scarring, lacerations, bruising swelling and cuts to left eye and forehead, blurred vision, extreme fear, and emotional trauma. The officers were motivated by racial animus and their desire to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate plaintiff because of his race.

Description: On April 17, 2017, NYPD officers stopped their police car near Mr. Tillman, who was lawfully standing beside his parked vehicle at 116th Street in Queens, NY, and told him he could not have open liquor. Despite handing the bottle over to a friend, Police Officers exited their vehicle and created fear and apprehension which led Mr. Tillman to run away. Within one minute of running, four police officers shot multiple rounds at Mr. Tillman, killing him instantly. Upon information and belief the NYPD members involved include: Sergeant Thomas Sorrentino, Police Officer Michael Renna, Police Officer Kenneth Stallone, Police Officer Mateusz Krzeminski and Police Officer John Arnold.
