Description: Defendant Officers entered and searched Plaintiffs' home and vehicle and arrested them for assault. Plaintiff Watkins was struck in the back and dragged to a police car. Plaintiffs were taken to the 75th Precinct where they were additionally charged with weapons possession. The weapons charges were dismissed when a judge found that officers did not have probable cause to search the home.

Description: Plaintiff was smoking a cigarette on his stoop when defendant officers walked by and asked him where the marijuana was and for ID. Plaintiff said he was not required to give them ID and went inside his home when officers kicked down the door, tightly handcuffed him, and took him to the 75th Precinct where he was given a summons for marijuana possession. Charges were dismissed and Plaintiffs home had been ransacked when he got home.
