Description: On July 7, 2018, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Pamela Mofunanya was lawfully driving her vehicle near Cropsey Avenue and Bay 49th Street in Brooklyn when she was approached by NYPD officers, including Officer Christina D'Agostino and Officer Wilson, based on a complaint from a Best Buy Liquors employee, Julie Francisco. The officers accused Mofunanya of stealing liquor despite her providing proof of purchase. She was handcuffed and searched, with her inner thighs and breasts being touched during the search. Mofunanya was detained for approximately two hours, issued a Desk Appearance Ticket, and subsequently released. The charges against her were dismissed in court.
