Description: On December 31, 2016, Plaintiff Tiffany Jordan was a passenger in a car in the vicinity of 2680 8th Ave. in New York when Defendants, Officer Angel Gonzalez and Officer Richard DiDonato, pulled the driver of the car over and illegally searched the vehicle. The Defendants found an air rifle and placed the driver and Plaintiff in handcuffs in a police van and refused to loosen the cuffs when Plaintiff so requested. As a result, Plaintiff suffered contusions and swelling requiring treatment at the emergency room after she was released. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and held for about 24 hours, then released and all charges were dismissed.
